Cloud Convergence Opportunities and Challenges †Free Samples

Question: Discuss about the Cloud Convergence for Opportunities and Challenges. Answer: Introduction: Technology are playing a very vital role in every sphere of life. One of the technologies which would be discussed in this context can be the idea of the cloud computing. The idea of cloud computing can be referred to as a design which is related to the IT environment for remotely provisioning the resources which are scalable. The origination of the term was from a metaphor relating to the internet, which directly relates to the network of network, which provides remote access to set of resources which can be considered as decentralized IT resources. The concept of the cloud computing is beneficial in a way that it directly gives the provision to the organization to store their data in a highly secured manner without any sort of security issue involved into the process. The cloud service providers are known as the cloud providers. They provide the basic infrastructure which can be used by someone who wants to implement the concept. In most of the organization environment were cloud i s used the concept allows the provisioning of the software by which different types of application can be implemented. There are different models, which are attached to the concept of the cloud computing which are mainly in the form of software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service. These models can be implemented within the working of any organization according to the requirement (Biswas Giaffreda, March). The idea of applying the concept of the cloud computing into the aspect of engineering is known as the cloud engineering. This technological field gives a systematic approach relating to high-level concerns, which are related to standardization, conceiving, operating and development management. It can be considered as a concept, which encompasses the contribution in more than one area, which may be security, systems, platform, information and risk. The main goal of the cloud-computing concept is to allow the user to store their data in the concept of the cloud and use or retrieve the data when it is required from their end. It is sometimes seen that the data of the user are not available due to the factor of linking problem between the device of the user and the cloud. The main aim of the cloud is to cut the cost and help the user to focus more on the concept of their core business working without taking into consideration any aspect relating to the hardware and the software implementation. The main technology which directly enables the idea of the cloud computing is the concept of virtualization. The virtualization concept breaks the physical device relating to computation into more than one device which can be used and managed for performing more than one computing task. The cloud computing can be considered as an on demand service and the user can make use of the technology when they are willing to do so or when they need it. The charges, which would be applicable to them, would be based on the usage. The main thing, which would be required in order to access the cloud, would be the technology of internet. The cost of the investment is also minimized in the concept of the cloud. The main advantage, which can be achieved from the idea of cloud, computing are as follows: Flexible Automatic software updates Disaster recovery Work from any location Document control The main concept of the cloud computing was first popularized by the Amazon.com in the year 2006 with the concept of the first known mention which was the Compaq internal document. The cloud computing is still an area of research. In the near future, it can be stated that the concept of the cloud would be playing a very dominating role, which would be enhancing the life of the common people (Avram, 2014). References Avram, M.
